INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS

Horizon 2020/Driving Urban Transition: Forthcoming

The FORTHCOMING Project aims to develop and assess data-driven, user-centric 15-minute city models for suburban areas by leveraging central city best practices and ICT tools, focusing on policy transferability, implementation optimization, and impact assessment.

EIT Urban Mobility | ScaleTHENGlobal Programme

The project aims to leverage Parabol's participation in the EIT Urban Mobility ScaleTHENGlobal – Welcome2Europe program, recognized as one of the top 5 innovative companies, to enhance its digital solutions for urban mobility. By accessing tailored mentoring, networking opportunities, and international exposure, Parabol seeks to refine its products and strategies, scale its operations, and expand its presence in the global market, thereby contributing to smart mobility and sustainable urban transport solutions worldwide.

Kâtip Çelebi-Newton- RAENG, TUBITAK– Evaluation of the Public Transportation Performance and Accessibility (PT-P&A) Based on Smart Card Data

This project aims to analyze smart card data to identify key travel patterns and assess public transport (PT) demand in a GIS environment. By mapping the most heavily used lines and stops, along with evaluating overall PT accessibility, it provides insights into factors affecting performance. Cross-analysis of demand and accessibility data will lead to recommendations for improving the PT system, enhancing economic development and social mobility in the city.

SUMP Ä°zmir:

To develop a Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan in Izmir, utilizing innovative big data analytics and activity-based models to enhance reliable, clean, and accessible mobility, with Parabol focusing on data collection, household surveys, and mobility modeling as a consortium partner.

EIT Urban Mobility: Public Transport Scenario-Based Decision Support Tool

The project aims to enhance and test the Cermoni tool in Modena and Antalya, focusing on improving operational efficiency, reducing financial losses due to demand fluctuations, and boosting the passenger experience through quick and flexible adaptations.

T-DEB: Scenario-based Mobility Strategy Management Platform

This project, in collaboration with Immense Simulations, aims to create a mobility strategy platform using advanced simulations for real-time decision support, optimizing traffic management and improving mobility efficiency.

SUMP Ä°stanbul Stage II:

To enhance Istanbul's mobility through the SUMP II Implementation Plan, promoting comfort, affordability, resilience, safety, and integration while minimizing transportation impacts, with Parabol contributing to various project components.

SUMP Konya-EskiÅŸehir:

To enhance transportation models in the EskiÅŸehir and Konya SUMP projects through effective data collection and analysis, integrating diverse big data sources related to cars, public transport, GIS, accidents, pedestrians, and bicycles, thereby contributing to model updates and improvements.
