Horizon 2020
Driving Urban Transition: Forthcoming
Project Aim
FORTHCOMING will develop and test data-driven and user-centric 15-minute city models for suburban contexts, learning from central city best practices. Based on the evidence from six European Urban Living Labs, FORTHCOMING will provide a comprehensive analysis of policy transferability for 15-minute City strategies, optimize their implementation in suburban settings, and produce an impact assessment. Within the project, special focus is placed on digitalization, through ICT MaaS and LaaS tools and how they can provide solutions to site-specific problems and support 15-minute City model development in the outskirts.
